Goat Sales Policy:
Our animals are raised as naturally as possible.  We do not vaccinate our herd.  We DO give coccidia prevention to kids at the age appropriate times.  All goats are disbudded.  Bucklings can be sold intact or whethered.  Our herd is CAE negative.  

We prefer to sell goats in pairs because goats are herd animals and they do best with other goats.  If buyer has other goats, we may make an exception.

A deposit can be made to hold your goat of choice.  Deposits are non-refundable unless the goat becomes sick or dies before pick up.

All goats sold are healthy at the time of sale.  We will not sell a goat that is sick with fever, diarrhea, off feed, or whose FAMACHA score (eyelid color to check for parasites) is not good.  Stress in goats is very common when moved from one place to another.  Stress may occur due to new environment and new feeding and management practices.  Illness can occasionally occur due to the stress.  We have no control over this and will not be responsible for the goat once it leaves our farm nor will we be responsible for any vet bills after the goat leaves our care.  All sales are final.  We will not take any animal back due to biosecurity issues and no refunds will be given due to illness or death.  To reduce stress, we recommend extra electrolytes such as gatorade, extra b-vitamins (or nutridrench), and keeping up with coccidia prevention.  We generally do not feed our kids grain so any grain should be introduced VERY slowly as it can upset the rumen and result in illness.  

If you would like the goat checked by a vet prior to pickup, you can arrange this at your cost.  Please let us know if this is something you are interested in and we will be happy to accommodate the request.
